Checkups

Care for children and adults

Children and adults can be seen in the same South London office. We explain findings in plain language so the next step is clear.

What’s included in a family checkup

Every visit starts with a comprehensive diagnostic examination, screening for tooth decay, periodontal (gum) disease, oral cancer, tooth grinding, toothbrush abrasion, and the deterioration of old crowns, bridges, and fillings.

  • Radiation-reduced digital x-rays
  • Professional cleanings, scaling and root planing
  • White (tooth-coloured) fillings
  • Crown and bridge work, and porcelain veneers
  • Root canal therapy when needed
  • Custom sports mouth guards
  • Repair of chipped, crooked, broken, and missing teeth, including dental implants

Why regular checkups matter

Catching small issues early – a cavity, a cracked filling, early gum inflammation – is almost always simpler and more comfortable to treat than waiting until they become painful. Our team takes the time to explain what we find and walk through your options in plain language.

Have a specific concern, like tooth grinding or an old filling that feels off? Mention it when you book – we’re happy to take a closer look at your next visit.

FAQ

Family dentistry questions

Are you accepting new families?

Yes. New patients and families are welcome. See our New Patients page for first-visit details and appointment options.

Can children and adults be seen at the same practice?

Yes. That is a core part of how we practice. Learn more on our Children’s Dentistry page.

Do you offer Invisalign?

Not at this time. If you are looking for other ways to improve your smile, our Cosmetic Dentistry page outlines the treatments we do offer.

How does insurance work?

We accept the Canadian Dental Care Plan (CDCP). For private insurance, we electronically submit claims on your behalf and do not accept assignment (direct billing). Payment is due at the time of treatment, and reimbursement is sent directly to you. Details are on our New Patients page.
